The Pleasure
The Pleasure explores the culture of enjoyment and the aesthetics of the contemporary city. Bright gummy bears play against a backdrop of pink facades and palm-lined boulevards, transforming rigid architecture into a space of fun and imagination. Their forms and colors create a dynamic rhythm where order meets play, and the city takes on the character of a playground.
The work references the legacy of Pop Art and the vibrant palette of the 1980s–90s, using infantile imagery as a language of joy and collective nostalgia. The Pleasure becomes a metaphor for a culture in which pleasure is rapidly consumed—vivid, colorful, and ironic—inviting the viewer to immerse themselves in contemporary pleasure!
