A work from the series Path of the New Home.
In this painting, I explore a private pause within the rhythm of the city.
The bathroom becomes a momentary refuge where the body rests, and the urban landscape softens into pink light.
The handwritten phrase “so me…”, made with an oil stick, appears as a fragment of inner thought — a gesture of recognition, acceptance, and quiet honesty. Its unfinished form invites the viewer to read their own meaning into it.
