Hidden in One’s Own Shadow
Acrylic and sand on canvas, 25 × 25 cm
2025
Hidden in One’s Own Shadow explores visibility, self-concealment, and inner division. Two overlapping figures — one cold blue, one warm orange — occupy the same pictorial field while remaining distinct.
The sand-textured surface creates a sense of friction between presence and retreat. Shadow appears not as an effect of light, but as an internal pressure held within the figure.
