Elena Gorn (b. Moscow) is a visual artist of Russian origin who lives and works in Tel Aviv, Israel.
With over fifteen years of experience in graphic design, she transitioned into fine art in 2024, seeking new forms of reflection and dialogue with the viewer.
She completed the Professional Retraining Program in Contemporary Art Practice at the Moscow School of Contemporary Art (MSCA) and pursued further training through programs such as Contemporary Art Studio, Sketchbook: The Art of Marker Sketching, and Acrylic Sketches.
In 2025, Gorn was officially recognized as a professional artist in Israel.
Her practice has been featured on global art platforms such as Artsy and ArtConnect, and supported by the America-Israel Cultural Foundation (AICF).
Her works are held in private collections and continue to gain recognition through both physical and digital showcases.
Artist Statement
I create large-scale acrylic paintings that merge architectural rhythm with the emotional traces of memory.
Living in a new home, I reflect on the tension between belonging and displacement — how place shapes identity and emotion.
Working with brushes, rollers, and palette knives, I build dense, textured surfaces where layers overlap like fragments of time.
My process is physical and intuitive, echoing how memory itself accumulates — imperfect and deeply human.
I often reimagine urban motifs through the language of color and pop aesthetics: neon, geometry, and playfulness become a code for collective nostalgia and quiet irony.
For me, painting is both reflection and reconstruction — a way to translate personal experience into visual rhythm, turning the everyday into a map of memory and resilience.
