Elena Gorn is a visual artist working in abstract painting and object-based forms. Her attention is focused on memory, identity, embodied experience, displacement, and the relationship with environment. In her practice, she works with natural materials, acrylic, and found objects through processes of accumulation, fragmentation, and transformation, translating them into object-based and spatial forms. Her works hold a tension between fragility and strength, experimentation and incompleteness.
