Radiance

Acrylic on canvas, 60 x 100 cm

2025

The work explores light as an extended state, revealed through color, time, and the transformation of the surface.

The warm color layer embodies a state of silence, internal concentration, and tense stillness. Traces of fading, drips, and tonal shifts serve as testimonies of time, through which light continues to operate within the canvas. The personal impulse behind the work is rooted in experiencing color as an emotional environment. For me, color is a way to sustain a state and its intensity without direct representation.

The creative process was inextricably linked to the open environment: sun, heat, dust, humidity, and rain altered the density and texture of the surface. The climate became a full co-author of the piece.
